What you Need to Get Started: 

Getting started with SNAP is designed to be as easy as possible.  Pickup your hardware in days from your favorite store, and then get our App.

• Purchase the Tablet
  Head to your preferred retailer—either online or in-store—and purchase an approved SamSung Galaxy Tablet.
• Purchase a Stand (Optional)
  We recommend this stand from Compulocks with the backlit panel for optimal setup and user experience.

• Download the SNAP App
  Once you have your tablet, download the SNAP app from the designated app store.

• Sign up for Service
  To activate 3D scanning, sign up for a subscription to SNAP’s software service through Fit3D. This unlocks access to the Fit3D Dashboard, where you can review scans and manage staff permissions. See available plans.

What are the Main Differences Compared to the ProScanner?

The Fit3D ProScanner is still the #1 selling 3d scanner globally – we will continue to sell & support this model. SNAP is just a different input capture device - both systems use the same backend for Scan Processing & Client Reporting. The quality of Scans is also the same.  There are a few main differences we want to point out: 

• Form Factor: Some clients will prefer the larger setup of the ProScanner with handles for safety. SNAP does not have a turntable or integrated scale, so you'll have to bring your own scale to type in measurements to the system.
• Posture Reports: SNAP will not have balance reports or postural reports as it does not have an bilateral weight scale. ‍
• Maintenance: SNAP will not have the need for RMA or Replacement parts as there is no mechanical parts in the design.
